AS Roma has appointed Jose Mourinho as their new head coach on a three-year contract. The Portuguese manager will replace Paulo Fonseca at the Serie A club starting from the 2021-2022 season.
Mourinho, who was sacked by Tottenham Hotspur last month, will return to Italy where he previously managed Inter Milan from 2008 to 2010, winning a historic treble in his final season.
AS Roma made the announcement on their official website, stating that Mourinho will begin his new role from the start of the 2021-2022 campaign.
