Guided bombs, strike drones and artillery hit 17 Sumy communities, leaving homes and infrastructure damaged. Police documented destruction and launched criminal investigations to gather evidence of possible war crimes.
In the Sumy region, within 24 hours, two people were killed and four were injured due to enemy shelling.

Casualties and Damaged Infrastructure
In the Bilopillia community, as a result of enemy drone strikes, a 64-year-old woman was killed and two men aged 51 and 66 were injured. In the Seredyno-Buda community, a Russian UAV strike on a house killed a 57-year-old woman.
In the Myropillia community, a 69-year-old man was injured due to a drone strike. In the Sumy community, a 44-year-old man was injured by an enemy drone strike.
In Bilopillia, Sumy, Myropillia, Seredyno-Buda, Hlukhiv, Esman, Shostka, Putivl, Novoslobidska and other communities, residential buildings, outbuildings, vehicles and other civil infrastructure facilities were damaged.
At the scene, police investigative-operational groups and explosive technicians worked. Law enforcement documented the destruction and gathered evidence of Russian war crimes. For each incident, criminal proceedings have been opened under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
According to the Sumy regional police, on June 12 Russian attacks killed two people and wounded 16.
Currently, law enforcement authorities continue investigating the incidents and are working to establish all the circumstances of the strikes to ensure accountability for the damage and losses.
