Indonesia has reported a significant drop in COVID-19 cases this week. Health officials attribute this decrease to the strict implementation of health protocols and the ongoing vaccination campaign.
According to the Ministry of Health, the number of new cases has decreased by 30% compared to last week. This is a positive development in Indonesia’s fight against the pandemic.
Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin urged the public to continue following health protocols despite the decrease in cases. He emphasized the importance of wearing masks, practicing physical distancing, and washing hands regularly.
The vaccination campaign in Indonesia is also making progress. Over 20 million people have been fully vaccinated, while more than 40 million have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
As the country continues its efforts to control the spread of COVID-19, health officials are hopeful that the situation will continue to improve in the coming weeks.
