Avenida Fire: Forward spread of Tuolumne County brush fire has been stopped

BREAKING NEWS IN TUOLUMNE COUNTY. THIS FIRE WE'VE BEEN FOLLOWING. YOU CAN SEE FROM LIVECOPTER3. A HOME HAS BEEN DESTROYED AND SMOKE CONTINUES TO POUR OUT OF THIS HOUSE. THIS HAS PROMPTED EVACUATION WARNINGS. AVENIDA FIRE HAS SCORCHED AT LEAST 40 ACRES IN THE AVENIDA CENTRAL AREA OF LA GRANGE. THE FORWARD SPREAD FORWARD. PROGRESS OF THIS FIRE HAS BEEN STOPPED. WHICH IS THE GOOD NEWS. BUT AS YOU SEE, AT LEAST ONE STRUCTURE WAS BURNED THERE. AND YOU CAN SEE THE RETARDANT LINES AROUND THE BLACKENED, DRIED GRASS IN THIS AREA. AND SO THESE EXCLUSIVE LIVE PICTURES FROM LIVECOPTER3 AS WE'RE JUST GETTING OVER THE SCENE. AGAIN, THIS DID PROMPT SOME EVACUATION WARNINGS IN THIS AREA. YOU CAN SEE HOW MUCH OF THE CHARRED GROUND SURROUNDS SOME OTHER STRUCTURES, BUT WE DO KNOW AT LEAST ONE HOUSE HAS BEEN DESTROYED. WE KNOW OTHER STRUCTURES WERE ALSO THREATENED. A LOT OF SMOKE COMING UP OFF OF THIS, AND WE CAN STILL SEE FLAMES COMING OUT OF THAT HOME. NOW THIS IS PRETTY CLOSE TO HIGHWAY 132 BETWEEN TWO LAKES, THE DON PEDRO RESERVOIR AND LAKE MCCLURE. YOU CAN SEE FIREFIGHTERS ON THE GROUND WORKING TO GET THOSE FLAMES OUT. AND HOPEFULLY THIS FIRE DOESN'T SPREAD TO ANY OTHER STRUCTURES. NOW, SEVERAL STREETS ARE STILL UNDER EVACUATION ORDERS, WARNINGS THAT WE MENTIONED. AND THOSE STREETS, AGAIN, HAVE BEEN UNDER THAT WARNING FOR ABOUT THE LAST HOUR OR SO. THIS FIRE, THOUGH, AGAIN, THEY HAVE STOPPED THE FORWARD PROGRESS. BUT THERE IS A LITTLE BIT OF A BREEZE THERE. IT IS ABOUT NINE MILES PER HOUR WITH GUSTS UP TO 1415MPH. BUT THEY'VE GOT IT PRETTY MUCH SURROUNDED. AND OF COURSE, THAT NATURAL BREAK WIT
