Christian Parker isn’t the only defensive coach Dallas added who is poised to make a major impact in 2026. BT Jordan is expected to immediately take the Cowboys pass rush to a different level in the same manner as he has at previous stops. As OTA’s wind down and mandatory minicamp lurks around the corner, the Cowboys defense appears ready to turn things around.
With next week in mind, the arrival date of wideout George Pickens is still a bit of a mystery and after not participating in the teams organized activities, quarterback Dak Prescott remains hopeful the two can connect on the field for the first time since April.
The race for the role behind Prescott is well underway and while Joe Milton has the athletic ability along with familiarity in the system, newcomer Sam Howell will use his experience to push the competition and attempt to steal the top reserve spot for the Cowboys.
The NFC East made waves Wednesday as the Eagles conducted a flurry of moves starting with the release of longtime veteran pass rusher Za’Darius Smith and replacing him with free agent A.J Epenesa. Edge Abdul Carter returned to Giants OTA’s after leaving a few days ago with a sprained ankle while Washington announced the arrival of a furry team mascot.
Around the NFL, Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes inked a deal which surpasses Prescott (finally) for the highest annual average salary among QB’s. Miami extended center Aaron Brewer to a three-year deal while Browns QB Deshaun Watson hopes to inspire confidence after seeming losing it from his owner.
