COVID-19 Update: Vaccination Campaign Launched
The government has officially launched a nationwide vaccination campaign to combat the spread of COVID-19. The campaign aims to vaccinate at least 70% of the population in the next six months. Vaccines will be provided free of charge to all eligible individuals.
Health Minister, Dr. Siti, stated, “Vaccination is crucial in our fight against the pandemic. It is important for everyone to get vaccinated to protect themselves and others.” The government is working to ensure that vaccines are distributed efficiently and equitably across the country.
Priority will be given to frontline healthcare workers, the elderly, and those with underlying health conditions. The government urges the public to register for the vaccine through the official government website or designated health centers.
As of now, over 1 million doses of the vaccine have been administered. The government is confident in the safety and efficacy of the vaccines and encourages all eligible individuals to get vaccinated as soon as possible.
