COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution Plan Announced by Government

The government has unveiled its plan for distributing the COVID-19 vaccine to the public. The plan includes prioritizing healthcare workers, the elderly, and other high-risk groups.

Health Minister, Dr. Siti Fadilah Supari, stated that the vaccine distribution will be carried out in several phases to ensure efficient and equitable access for all citizens.

The first phase will focus on vaccinating frontline healthcare workers and essential workers. The second phase will target senior citizens and individuals with underlying health conditions.

The government aims to vaccinate at least 70% of the population in order to achieve herd immunity and effectively control the spread of the virus.

said Dr. Supari.

The government is working closely with healthcare providers and local authorities to oversee the distribution process and address any challenges that may arise.
