New organization leads a searching generation back to the unchanging foundation of Jesus

PORTLAND, Ore. — As Generation Z increasingly rejects the idea of absolute truth, with 60% prioritizing individual beliefs and 57% saying religious and moral questions are not fact, a new initiative launched today offers this generation honest conversations about real truth.

Founded by Rick and Naomi Anderson, Verity Collective is a movement rooted in the unchanging truth of the gospel. Created out of a desire to highlight truth in a culture constantly chasing trends, the cornerstone of the initiative is John 14:6: “Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me'†(New International Version).

“Verity Collective was created in direct response to Gen Z's search for truth,†said Naomi Anderson, co-founder and visionary of Verity Collective. “This generation has been told that everyone is entitled to their ‘truth,' creating more confusion in one of the most pivotal stages of life: young adulthood. We want to create space for honest conversations and point Gen Z to the unchanging truth of Jesus.â€

Generation Z is unlike any other generation to come before it—living in a technologically advanced world, facing pivotal moments such as the COVID-19 pandemic as young adults and experiencing an ever-changing cultural landscape, all contributing to a significant decline in mental health. A 2025 report found that 67% of Gen Z was lonely, and a 2026 study revealed 94% of Gen Z individuals report monthly mental health struggles. In response to a generation craving connection over consumption, Verity Collective creates space for conversations and action among peers.

Using short-form content, media and apparel, the movement aims to reach the digital natives with relatable content that points back to the one true north, Jesus Christ. At its core is Verity Stories, a collection of video testimonies from those who found something greater than what the world offers, alongside unfiltered man-on-the-street interviews addressing the key question: “What is truth?â€

“Naomi and I see Verity Stories as foundational to this movement,†said Rick Anderson, co-founder of Verity Collective. “This generation is surrounded by voices urging them to define truth for themselves. These stories offer something different: real lives transformed by Jesus and a clear invitation to consider the truth that does not change.â€

In addition to digital content, the movement will offer exclusive merchandise, allowing individuals to express their faith in their personal style. The apparel with a simple 146 nods to Jesus' words in John 14:6, providing an opening to gospel conversations. Merchandise will be available on July 1, 2026.

“Our prayer is that Verity Collective reaches every Gen Z individual,†said Naomi Anderson. “We hope that these are more than just interesting videos to scroll past, or another piece of clothing to sport. Rick and I want this to be an ongoing conversation that spreads God's truth and love to every person questioning the culture and their place in it.â€
