Breaking News: Earthquake Hits Indonesia
JAKARTA – A magnitude 6.2 earthquake struck off the coast of Indonesia on Tuesday, causing buildings to collapse and widespread panic among residents. The earthquake hit at a depth of 20 kilometers, not far from the city of Manado on the island of Sulawesi.
Authorities are currently assessing the damage and casualties, with reports of at least 10 people injured so far. The earthquake also triggered a tsunami warning, although it was later lifted.
