After a week of consistent chances of storms and showers, Sunday might bring some respite with no rain in the forecast. The day before Memorial Day is going to bring sunshine, clouds and fog to North Texas.

Sunday is starting with patchy fog in the morning before 10 a.m. with cloudy skies before becoming sunny, according to the National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office. Temperatures during the day are forecast to top out near 84 degrees before dropping down to 68 degrees at night.

The weather service has issued an air quality alert which says atmospheric conditions Sunday are going to favor high levels of ozone air pollution in the metroplex.

The coming week is going to bring the chances of showers and thunderstorms back to Dallas-Fort Worth, the weather service’s forecast said. Starting Monday, the region will see a continuous chance of rain throughout the week.

The weather is expected to be seasonably warm with day temperatures in the 80s.
