Study: Regular Exercise Linked to Lower COVID-19 Risk
A recent study published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine suggests that regular exercise could help reduce the risk of contracting COVID-19. The study, conducted by researchers from the Example University, analyzed data from over 50,000 adults with COVID-19.
The findings showed that those who engaged in regular physical activity were less likely to test positive for the virus compared to those who were inactive. The researchers also noted that exercise was associated with milder symptoms and a lower risk of hospitalization among those who did contract the virus.
While more research is needed to fully understand the relationship between exercise and COVID-19, the study provides further evidence of the importance of staying active, especially during a pandemic.
