...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 915 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Wisconsin, including the
following county, Dane.

* WHEN...Until 915 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 615 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause
urban and small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of
rain has fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Eastern Madison, Sun Prairie, Waunakee, McFarland, Monona,
Windsor, Deforest, Cottage Grove, Maple Bluff and Token
Creek.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL COLUMBIA AND
EASTERN DANE COUNTIES THROUGH 630 PM CDT...

At 606 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Lodi to Windsor to Sun Prairie to near
Stoughton. Movement was north at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Brief funnel clouds and wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Eastern Madison, Sun Prairie, Stoughton, Waunakee, McFarland,
Windsor, Lake Wisconsin, Deforest, Cottage Grove, Lodi, Poynette,
Dane, Arlington, Utica, Harmony Grove, Morrisonville, Token Creek,
Interstate 90/94 Interchange, and Okee.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 39/90/94 between mile markers 109 and 110, and between
mile markers 112 and 137.
U.S. Highway 12 between mile markers 268 and 273.
U.S. Highway 151 between mile markers 98 and 105.
Interstate 39/90 between mile markers 138 and 154.
Interstate 94 between mile markers 241 and 247.
