BoxLunch comes to the Animas Valley Mall

The pop culture store, BoxLunch is opening a new location in the Animas Valley Mall in Farmington.
Grand opening festivities will be from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and will include games, prizes, and a live DJ, according to a news release from the company.
“Farmington was a natural fit for BoxLunch, and we're excited to bring our fandom-driven retail experience to the Animas Valley Mall community,†Rick Vargas of BoxLunch said.
“Each new store location represents an immersive destination for pop culture enthusiasts,†the release said.
“From collectibles and apparel to accessories and home goods inspired by fans' favorite franchises, we look forward to creating a space where the community can connect through the stories and characters they love,†Vargas said, adding the brand is dedicated to give back to the community through charitable partnerships.
BoxLunch will support “local families in need through our partnership with Feeding America and its local member food bank, Roadrunner Food Bank,†Vargas said.
BoxLunch encourages people to turn out for the grand opening celebration, and staff will hand out gift cards to the first 50 people to arrive at the store, which officially opens at 10 a.m. Saturday.
