COVID-19 Update: Travel Restrictions
As of July 1, the government has implemented new travel restrictions in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. These restrictions apply to both domestic and international travel.
Domestic Travel Restrictions:
- Inter-provincial travel is limited to essential purposes only.
- Proof of a negative COVID-19 test may be required for certain destinations.
- Quarantine measures may be imposed depending on the destination.
International Travel Restrictions:
- Entry to the country is restricted to citizens, residents, and essential workers only.
- Foreign travellers must provide a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of departure.
- 14-day quarantine is mandatory for all incoming travellers.
