Fans of The Testaments are eager to find out when they can catch the next instalment of The Handmaid’s Tale spin-off series.
The long-awaited sequel is now streaming on Disney Plus, with four brand-new episodes already available to view.
Based on Margaret Atwood’s novel of the same name, the show focuses on a new generation of women coming of age in Gilead.
Audiences follow Agnes (played by Chase Infiniti), the biological daughter of The Handmaid’s Tale protagonist June Osborne (Elisabeth Moss). Now a teenager, she attends Aunty Lydia’s (Ann Dowd) preparatory school for wives, alongside fellow daughters of the elite.

The Testaments Episode 5 arrives on Wednesday, April 22. This will be a single-episode release, in contrast to last week’s three-episode drop.
Entitled ‘Ball’, the upcoming instalment will plunge viewers back into the Green girls’ path towards wifedom, reports the Mirror.
A synopsis reads: “At a debutante-style ball where Green girls are paraded before Commanders, the illusion of elegance begins to fray. Agnes discovers Garth’s status has changed.”

As viewers will recall, Agnes recently advanced to Green status following her first period, and has since begun her preparation to become a wife. Her closest friend Becka (Mattea Conforti) was already a Green at the start of the series and has made no secret of her disdain for the entire process.
Agnes, meanwhile, has largely remained hopeful about entering the next chapter of womanhood — yet the harsh realities of life in Gilead are beginning to take their toll. Viewers will discover what lies ahead for the young teenager in episode five.
Disney’s synopsis of the drama teases: “The series follows young teens Agnes, dutiful and pious, and Daisy, a new arrival and convert from beyond Gilead’s borders.
“As they navigate the gilded halls of Aunt Lydia’s elite preparatory school for future wives, a place where obedience is instilled brutally and always with divine justification, their bond becomes the catalyst that will upend their past, their present, and their future.”
