CenExel, a wholly owned clinical research site network, expanded its leadership team by appointing Bethany Sensenig as Chief Financial Officer.
Sensenig comes to CenExel from Radius Health, where she served as Chief Financial Officer as well as Head of Operations.
Duties of New Chief Financial Officer
At CenExel, she will oversee financial strategy, planning, and accounting functions. Overall, she has nearly three decades' experience as a biopharma executive.
This includes finance, corporate strategy, and operations, across both commercial- and clinical-stage organizations.
CenExel Welcoming New Leadership
Sensenig's appointment is the latest of CenExel's additions to its executive team in 2026. That includes Sy Pretorius joining as Chief Executive Officer in May.
In a press release, Pretorius welcomed his newest colleague to the company.
“[This] reflects our continued investment in the people and infrastructure needed to support sponsors, investigators, and patients,†Pretorius said. “Bethany will play a critical role in ensuring CenExel remains at the forefront of innovation, quality, and growth.â€
Largest Site Network of Scale
CenExel made these moves, it says, to work toward becoming the largest site network of scale in the United States. Its Centers of Excellence have already conducted thousands of studies with precision, accuracy, and speed.
The company provides research support in design and execution of complex clinical trials. Team members leverage scientific expertise and advanced patient engagement strategies, among other capabilities.
