NFL.com recently spotlighted two rising Eagles staff members, adding to the evidence that Philadelphia's culture extends well beyond football.

The Philadelphia Eagles have built one of sports' gold-standard organizations, but what makes that true extends beyond championships, roster construction, and Sundays in the fall. Winning matters. No one in the City of Brotherly Love would pretend otherwise, but the Eagles have quietly become something else outside of that.

They’re an organization that consistently creates pathways for growth, opportunity, and meaningful impact far beyond the football field. That's worth acknowledging, and recently that was exactly what happened.

The Eagles' culture of progression reaches far beyond the locker room

NFL.com's Brooke Cersosimo recently spotlighted two Eagles staff members as part of the league's Next Woman Up series, shining a light on operations administration manager Jennifer Mastrangelo and facility operations coordinator Stephanie DeAngelis. Both stories tell a larger truth Eagles fans already understand.

For years, Philadelphia has preached development and progression as organizational cornerstones. Fans usually apply that language to players, assistant coaches, or front-office decision-makers. The philosophy clearly reaches much further. Mastrangelo’s story is one of remarkable longevity and perseverance. What began as a college opportunity working game-day promotions evolved into a nearly 25-year career overseeing stadium operations, event logistics, sustainability initiatives, and even preparations for global events like the FIFA competition at Lincoln Financial Field.

DeAngelis represents the next generation. A Philadelphia native and lifelong Eagles fan, she entered the organization through ticket and fan services before embracing an unexpected transition into facility operations, where she now helps manage stadium readiness, renovations, maintenance, and game-day logistics.

These aren’t ceremonial roles. They’re critical positions inside one of the NFL's most visible franchises. If we’re being honest, this feels very Eagles. This is the same organization that has made autism advocacy a year-round mission through the Eagles Autism Foundation, turning its platform into something far larger than football while raising millions for autism research, care, and inclusion.

For too long, professional football was viewed as a space with limited lanes for women or community-driven leadership beyond performative gestures. Philadelphia continues proving otherwise. The Eagles don’t simply talk about culture because it sounds good in interviews. They build it, invest in it, and, perhaps most importantly, allow others to grow within it.
