According to one exclusive report, the BBC is (supposedly, they did not comment according to the story) in the development and casting stages of a new television series that tells the adventures and stories of the detective who famously values his “little gray cells.†We are of course talking about Hercule Poirot. The detective was most famously, and with great acclaim, played by David Suchet across multiple seasons that were produced throughout twenty-five years (though there aren't 25 seasons) on ITV. The detective is, of course, the creation of famous mystery author Agatha Christie. If this reporting is all true, the show wouldn't debut until later 2027.

LIST | 9 THINGS TO WATCH (SORT OF) LIKE ‘OFF CAMPUS'

Acorn TV announced June 22 as the return of their mystery series Harry Wild. The show stars Jane Seymour in the titular role, playing a former professor who winds up becoming a private eye alongside her partner in crime Fergus. The show's fifth season will also reunite Seymour with her prior Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman co-star Joe Lando. The role of Lando is set to see him play a pathologist that will join Harry and Fergus, and her police detective son, as they solve some tough cases.

BTW, if you love Acorn TV titles, don't miss their latest charmer You're Killing Me.
