The NBA playoffs might feel like they've been going on forever — they started on April 18! — but there is no denying that they've been fun.

Now that we're digging into the conference finals, the postseason party is really heating up.

In the East, Jalen Brunson put on his cape and rescued the New York Knicks in Game 1 against the Cleveland Cavaliers, scoring 15 points in the final eight minutes of regulation to help the Knicks avoid an embarrassing loss — while pinning one on the Cavs.

In the West, San Antonio Spurs big man Victor Wembanyama watched Shai Gilgeous-Alexander receive his second straight MVP award, then demolished the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder in a double-overtime Game 1 thriller. Is it possible for one player to show flashes of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Stephen Curry and LeBron James all in one game? Yes, it is. (The Thunder evened the series with a win in Game 2).
